THE ROOMS
Le Sommelet has 4 rooms, each with its own private bathroom. The Seringa Deluxe Suite has an en-suite bathroom. Les Coucous and L'Aigle each have a private bathroom with external access. In the shared hallway you'll find coffee, tea, and chilled water at your disposal. Every room has a small terrace on the balcony that wraps around the house. The Seringa has direct access to its own terrace. The names and colors of the rooms are inspired by the region.
The fourth room, Orfa, is located on the ground floor with a secluded terrace facing the parking area and features a private sauna/relaxation area with an adjoining en-suite bathroom. If you have difficulty with stairs, this is the ideal room for a comfortable stay.
As an enthusiast of Feng Shui, I have done my best to apply its principles within the possibilities of the house. Feng Shui is a traditional Chinese philosophy focused on harmonizing one's environment. Its goal is to create a favorable flow of energy in living spaces to promote happiness, health, and prosperity. For example: according to Feng Shui, the water element should not be present in a bedroom, as water amplifies energy and can disturb rest. For this reason, there is no shower or bathroom fixture inside the bedroom itself. Excess or unnecessary ornaments are also discouraged, as they can similarly disturb tranquility.

The name of this room is also connected to Somme-Leuze. The Aigle, or eagle, is the emblem of Somme-Leuze and appears on the coat of arms of the noble Waha family, who have lived in the region since the 1300s. The blue and brown tones in the room refer to the eagle's connection with both the earth and the sky.
